Purelight UV-light uses 100% chemical-free UV-C sterilization to
disinfect objects and surfaces. Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation
(UVGI) is a fast and very effective way to destroy DNA-RNA based micro
organisms. UV-C light (Ultraviolet light) is well-known in the
scientific communities, and has been used since the beginning of the
20th century.
UVC is a part of the natural ultraviolet (UV) spectrum from the sun,
but is absorbed by the ozone layer in the atmosphere and because of
that does not reach down to the surface of the earth. The method is
thoroughly tested at some of the world’s top-testing
laboratories in practical controlled testing and the results are
outstanding.
UVC does not leave any residue or traces in the environment and is
therefore an environmentally friendly alternative to chemicals. UVC
light is not the same as the blue light bulbs found in some kitchens;
these have the task of killing flies and insects. Neither is the blue
light that can be found in a number of public restrooms UVC light.
These have the intention to prevent drug-addicts to use the facilities
to use needles for injections (with blue light the veins become harder
to see).
UVC is a highly effective disinfectant that inactivates/kills microbes
(bacteria, viruses, mould, fungus, spores of fungus and moulds) and
also housmites. Purelight can sterilize all objects for example: beds,
shoes, kitchen appliances, toothbrushes, toilets, car interiors, toys
etc.
There is an unlimited potential when using the Purelight UV-light. The
lamp is a secure, fast and effective way to sterilize and prevent
contaminants, in households, hospitals, food production, kitchens,
hotels, restaurants, kindergardens and other places where a clean
environment is a necessity.
UVC works through the way that it damages the genetic material ( DNA or
RNA) inside an organism so that it because of this no longer can
multiply. UVC creates damage to the molecules that are crucial for
microbial function. Microbes, germs are relatively
“simple” organisms that are composed of a simple
protective membrane barriers or cellular walls.
All surfaces and air that are available for UVC light treatment either
through direct exposure or through reflections become disinfected. All
normal surfaces reflect the UVC rays. This can be compared with what
happens in a dark room when a door is opened towards daylight. The
light fills the entire room also underneath benches and tables.

cabins etc. Usage of UVC is an automatic disinfection method that saves
work effort and secures human error in disinfection routines.

The LED display tells you when the unit is activated. There is an
English and Norwegian user manual. Purelight is easy to use and has
very good security features. A special filter gives you 10 times better
protection from the harmful rays than any other freely exposed UVC
light device. A pair of protective UV glasses come along inside the
package. Never let the Purelight Light shine on your eyes or skin. If people are
exposed by accident to the UVC light, it is in no way life threatening,
but the skin and eyes are vulnerable to passing influence.
